Job Description

Office Manager

As a member of the ProMedica Physician Group team, the Office Manager leads daily operations for the practice. You supervise, direct, and oversee the staff's productivity and efficiency while following policies and procedures.

You will monitor and maintain operational expenses and prepare purchase orders, maintain supplies and inventory. In this role, you schedule office staff, monitor and approve overtime and ETO and approve payroll hours.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of documented supervisory experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Health Services related field
  • Supervisory experience in health care or physician office environment
  • Proficient in medical terminology
  • Strong knowledge base of physician billing office practices, with demonstrated knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding regulations and requirements
